TM install party at Jon's (Turdle)

OK, the upper is on and bolted down. Dan is routing the vacuum lines and spark plug wires now.

And I didn't even break anything yet. Awesome--

You just had to go and say it...

Woohoo, get the exhaust on?

Nope. Couldn't get there in time so we put it back up in the attic. The exhuast shop wanted to close down early today.

:( Dan has a quiet truck.

Yeah--I knew that was coming. :D We used the provided gaskets.

So far mine as holding out just fine outside of that one small one that gave me some grief. My truck has been running great ever since that gasket replaced in December.

Eric, big thanks to you and your brother Phillip for coming down, for nothing more than to help out. I really appreciate it.

Sparksaflying came through also. Thanks Mark.

I got home right at 8:00. CEL came on about 5 miles after Leaving Jon's. No running issues. I'll pull the code Sat.

They made a HUGE difference. I am bummed about the no rumble :( That will change shortly I hope. :)

So, yeah. Dang CEL
I don't think I can sleep until I know what that code is. You have an xcal device now go plug it in.

I call an egr code-
I do remember plugging in the connector to the DPFE sensor, however, now come to think it over I do not remember plugging in the connector to the egr vacuum regulator. It is the device with 2 vacuum lines together which you did connect vacuum to.

You wanted codes you got codes and not one is EGR :p:

P0102 MAF sensor reference signal voltage too low
P0117 IAT or ECT intermittent fault
P1100 MAF sensor volt out of specification
P1117 IAT or ECT intermittent fault

hmmm, weird. those 2 connectors are in the same harness. I wonder what's up with that?

Hopefully you can look tomorrow.

I just went and checked the MAF plug as I didn't remember plugging it in. It was plugged in but I unplugged it and noticed water in the connection from the afternoon rain shower. I sprayed it with MAF cleaner to evaporate the water.

I also unplugged the IAT connector but it was dry but I hit it with the MAF cleaner as well. There was some water in the intake tube that I poured out. I wonder if it played a hand.

That's weird, make sure every connection is locked in place all the way. I found one that wasn't completely locked yesterday to my tail light. the worst problem is I still don't know why my battery drained in 40 hours and nothing was left on.
