I did the TT and shackles a while back and got to wondering if my Torsion bars would lift anyhigher. So today I got underthere and looked and sure enough. My drivers side is allthey in...its as tight as it can go. But my passenger side is barely in at all. It has at least half its threads left to go. What can I do to fix this, meaning...how can I get my drivers side higher? Longer bolt? I looked at the front of both bars and they are both lined up the same, so its not like i could just take the drivers out and turn it. THanks, Bob

They do make longer bolts, I forgot where i saw this, I'm sure someone else will comment on this or will post the thread where this was mentioned. But yes, you can do that.

Edit-
I just remembered one person said he took his old torsion bolt to a machine shop, and asked them to make a similar one only longer.

Look up Gerald's (GJarrett) writeup on his X. He talks about this and what he did to fix it.
