touch up painting?

i dont know anything about painting, but my platinum front bumper has some major scratches in it and i finally got my push bar to protect it. how could i re-paint the scratches? can i just brush on over or do i need to spray and smooth? what about body scratches? should i just get it detailed?

Depends on the results you are seeking.
If you want the take five steps back looks fine. Get a body shop or the dealership to mix up some touch up.
Do not trust store bought touch up.
A " Squirl Tail " touch up brush it the best but not the cheapest brush in the world. In a pinch a hobbie shop paint brush will do the trick.
But for the best of the best , have a body shop paint the whole thing.
