Tpms Relearn

Why not find someone with a Chevy vehicle and sell it to them at a discount...like 45-50 dollars? should be able to get enough for you to buy the motorcraft one I posted the link to.

This really sucks waste of money and all because of autotoolworld.com lack of information, well it's not working tried few times and nothing , i guess rotating the tires would be a waste of time, i guess this is going to the trash can.

a read somewhere that if you put the car in learning mode and don't have the tool just take air out o the tire until the horn sounds

the worst thing is that there's no way of disconnecting the system or bypassing it, there's no fuse anything at all, disconnecting the bulb in the dash won't make the warning on the display disappear so we are F***!!!! sorry for my language but i'm selling the car and don't know what to do i'm not that crazy to go to the stealership cause here in my country they charge huge amount of money for simple stuff

thanks ronin but i live in Panama Rep. Panama way far from us

The tool Ronin8002 posted is the one I use on my '07 Explorer switching between my snow tire set and summer tire set. Works like a charm...

i hooked up a scanner and could see all the sensors working and sending info on the tires air pressure but a code popped out B2872 = tire pressure sensor fault if i had a bad sensor then one of this codes should appear non of them did

B2868 LEFT FRONT
B2869 RIGHT FRONT
B2870 RIGHT REAR
B2871 LEFT REAR

i downloaded a pdf file that said something about the SJB and pinpoint test g, i really don't know what it is and if that will solve my problem, heres the link for the pdf file it's for mustangs but uses the same system correct me if i'm wrong

It isn't clear to me that you have actually trained the sensors correctly. When you entered the training mode, did the horn honk each time you programmed a sensor (in the correct order)? If it didn't, you have the wrong tool, the sensors are dead, or you need to rotate the tire slightly. You made a comment that the message just disappears, thus why I am asking.

The pinpoint test basically is to verify that the vehicle has been trained properly.

the tool that i have apparently doesn't work with ford vehicles although it says it will work on most vehicles equipped with tpms, i went to a friend shop and did the scan and everything look normal i guess it is like you say they need to be trained properly with the tool, i've tried what the owners manual says drive at 20 mph for 2 minutes and they will be retrained but all it does is blink a few times and disappears few more minutes driving comes on again

To the best of my knowledge, the only way to properly train the TPMS sensors is with the right tool. Driving for over 2 minutes at over 20 mph is only mentioned as how to turn the TPMS light off after inflating the tires to the correct pressure if the original fault is too low of pressure in the tire. If your sensors aren't trained correctly, that will do nothing.

Until you have the correct tool, you are just wasting your time. Ronin8002 posted a link to the correct tool.
