I'm new here and just wanted to get a little feedback. I own a 2003 Sport Trac XLS with 55,000 miles. I recently found out that it was losing fluid out of the transfer case. Very slow leak but still a leak. I have been putting off changing the seals until funds come in, but still want to get it done. Just as of yesterday my clutch went to mush. Two days ago it was engaging just off the floor (not the norm) usually there is some space before it engages. Yesterday my wife tried to start it but it would not disengage. Reservoir still had fluid in it, but clutch is not working. Could the transfer case and clutch be related? or did we just get really unlucky all at one time??? Any info would help on either issue or both together? Perhaps even a good place for parts. Thanks
