Truck turns over but won't start. I have replaced the battery and alternator. The starter was replaced last year. Spark plugs have been replaced and so has the serpentine belt. A "mechanic" gave me 3 different diagnoses which have all been addressed except for the timing chain but I didn't hear any rattling while it
idled. Any suggestions?

Check fuel pump,
Fuel pump relay,
Fuel pressure at fuel rail.

Also you can try spraying a litte gas into the throttle body and see if it starts for a second or two to know if it's a fuel problem.

Thanks. I will do that and let you know.

40 years ago a GREAT Ford mechanic told me ( a kid then), that my '68 Mustang needed 3 things in order to start.

1. Fuel
2. Spark
3. Timing needs to be correct so the spark ignites the fuel in the combustion chamber just before top dead center.

Still holds true today

Eliminate 2 and you can figure it out from there.
