I charged the batteries for my camper too. 2 new Duracell D batteries for the mag light in the tent.

See you guys out there!

Colin' Your not bringing the truck? What gives, we've got a pit crew for ya:p:

John and I got camp set up a few hours ago, right where we planned, though there are many people camped on the other side of 22 already. We'll likely go out in the morning and come back to camp for lunch to pick up anyone that has shown up. See you all tomorrow!

I on the otherhand had some things come up, I'm not going to be making it. See you guys next time.

Wow, that's a bummer hopefully you can make it out in Feb. for the big run.

I just need to go to the market for food and ice then i'm off!

Ditto!......but I have to go to work tonight, so I will see you all in the morning. Might get off early, then a little sleep, then should be there by 10am.

Got back with no traffic on the way!! I was very surprised. Anyway, thank you to Tom for bringing that axle down and the help, Jefe for the tools and help, RockRanger for the help and BKennedy for my chair. :D

I had a great time as usual out there and it's so nice to be 4wd again.

How in the world did he manage to side swipe all you guys?

How in the world did he manage to side swipe all you guys?

Tdavis sees nice trail. He drives through with a rub on the driver side rocker guard on a rock/bank. Jefe goes through next and leaves lots of paint from his driverside rear door on said bank. Stic-o, froader, froader, myself, and b kennedy all memberes of pack in pack out take the paint jefe left on the rock and then added to the driverside of our vechicles. thus jefe sideswpied all of us.

Good weekend of wheeling. Need to do lots of minor repair to my truck as well.

Colin, glad to see that your rolling again (4x4) I mean. Nice licence plate.

Once again I got damage before I even made it to T-haven:rolleyes:

I hopped on a frontage road that parallels the hwy to go around an accident that had traffic at a dead stop. Well, the road was pretty rough and I bottomed out hard going through some whoops and broke free half of the upper shock mounts. The scary thing is I wheeled it like that the next day until I discovered it when we came back to camp for lunch. Luckily it held together and I was able to drive it home...oh, and I got a couple more dents and scratches:p:

Got back about an hour ago. Hit traffic as soon as I turned off S-22 onto S-2. Stop and go all the way to SR-79, then pretty smooth after that. Added 30 minutes to my drive.

I am filing a hit and run report on Jefe as soon as I get to the office tommorow, he failed to exchange information with that rock.  The wife looked at the damage and said, that is not too bad, then I told her it was the left rear door, not the left front.

Good Times:thumbsup:

Got out there Friday afternoon, and everyone was waiting for me show to go on a run, So unloaded, aired down, locked the hubs and out we went. Had a good day run Friday(Tom's flying coilovers and burnt out cars make for interesting obstacles:rolleyes: ), and a great night run! Almost rolled the truck on the night run:eek: but some quick help from everyone on the back saved it. Thanks Guys. Saturday morning I steped out of the motorhome on to a rug hidden under the astroturf, and sprained my ankle. This would later end my offroading for the trip. We went on a short morning run where my luck continued. about 10 mins. in I went over a small ridge and didn't see a large rock and plowed right into with the driverside tire. Then all you could was a huge rush of air leaving the tire. Luckly it was only a bent rim. After pulling the the tire, Matt and Tom went at the Rim with a BFH. Got to hold air and off we were again. Went back to camp around noon, and picked up Bryan. Tom found some great trails and think we all came back with a few more dents. About this time I was done, my ankle that I sprained earlier in the morning was now starting to really hurt and stiffing up. Went back to camp hope to throw some ice on it, and be ready for a night run. By dinner I could barely walk.:( That was when the "TRAITORS" stopped by for a hour. :p: We left early this morning and missed all the traffic. Ankle seems to be doing ok, I walk on it, but still sore and swolen.

Good run though! I'll have some pics later. I got a couple of nice flex shots of Matt, Colin and Dave.

Dave let me guess you broke the driverside right? Because I have awsome flex shot of yours with the front driver side way down!

Some Pics..

Well as you know ..

I'm home.

I-10 was stop and go from Indio to the truck scales near the Cabazon Casino (30 miles of it..) Took an extra 2 hrs. The rest was flying easy (busy, but easy)..

I had fun, the 2liter is a blast to drive!

I think I set a record, for getting body damage (ok, small scratch on the zuk slider) in a single spot. It was 7 vehicles!
