Have you monitored actual IAT with the chrome tube?

i havent. how would i go about doing that?

Plug in a scanner or other OBD-II monitoring device to see the intake temp while driving.

i am very interested in your IAT with the chrome tube. I have shown that with a KKM intake , the IAT is only a fdew degrees higher than outside air temp at speeds over 40 MPH>

I would be interested but the major deciding factor would be price. How much are these going to be selling for?

Same here.

If the price is right and there's one available for the 5.0 then I would consider getting one.

I'm interested in the rubber tube for a 95+ OHV 4.0. I've been looking for an aftermarket tube to go along with my KKM......

Do people that have already purchased the KKM air filter get a discount? ;)

put me down for a definate if the price is reasonable. will they make one for the 1st gen X?

This thread is to gauge interest. I'm sure Warren will be able to see which Explorers are most represented in this thread and build the first batch for those if he decides to have them made at all.

Keep the comments and votes coming :D

Thanks.

if price is right id get one.

count me in

Ok, gonna have to same the same as many others, if the price is right. I've already got the KKM, so I'd just need the tube..

To be totally honest i would need to know exactly what it was and what it was made of how it will mount and see pictures of what what it would look like.

Asking what i think is a good price for something that does not exist doesnt make any sence. That would be like me saying I have a car that will bring you from point A to point B with no further details. How much are you willing to pay for it?

Without more specific details i cant give you what i would be willing to pay. Whoever is making them needs to tell us what he wants for them. That is what i will base my decision on.

I would be interested, but will it be 50 state legal? My understanding is the KKM I have in my truck right now isn't...

I reinstall my stock airbox when I go for emissions. Takes just a few minutes.

O.K. Bros, 34 yeas, 0 nays, let the group purchase begin. Mike

Those of you concerned with price... what do you consider a good price?

I think 50-60 dollars is a fair price, with shipping included. I came up with this number because that is what Demollet charges for their intake tube with shipping included for various Mustangs.
