Can I get a list of peoples true tire sizes?
Anything like the Baja Claws, Boggers, SSRs, TSL SX's, TSLs(bias ply), or the Goodyear MT/Rs.

I know that when my TSL radials were new they measured in at 36 and a 1/4 inches. I need some true tires. I don't want to buy some 35" tires that only measure 33.5" tall.

well I would think that most are what they say they are, but when you put Air to them and the load of the Explorer on them, they will tend to give you different heights.

I hear that Interco usually run big. Even the specs on their site say so. Usually a tad taller than the rest. Such as their 305/70-16 which is usually a 33-12.50-16 but actually a 33.9 which is basically 34 heh.

Ok i gotcha now. i was confusing myself. seems the best thing to do is check the spec and then if possible actually test fit them and see if they rub bad.

It can get quite confusing soup, don't worry. We all wish they'd just be what they say.

something else to think about

Even with the specs given by the manufacturer, you need to read what they measured. Example they usually give the dimensions on a specific rim width, if you use a rim thats wider (or narrower) the section width and height change. You could mount a 33 12.50 on a 7,8,9 or 10" rim and have 4 widths and 4 heights. With narrower rims having smaller cross sections, and taller heights.
good luck

If you look for it, some times they have the rims size they were spec'd on.
