Try Radio Shack, they got a million kinds of adapters and plugs etc.

I've seen those before but for the life of me I cant think of what they are called.

Yes, I got lift!:D

Without knowing who it is made by your going to have a hard time finding the right plug. That plug probably has power, video and such conecction in it. If you hook up the wrong wires you will damage the unit

That silver (or white) sticker shown in the pic doesn't list a manufacturer? Radio Shack should have any generic plug you need, but if it is a custom thing (hard to tell from pic), you will need to figure out the manufacturer and get it from them.

BTW: Just out of curiousity. Your friend doesn't have the plug or know who made it? That seems a bit weird.

lol its not stolen, he kinda missplaced the cord

It kinda looks like SVHS but like Brian said, it could be a specialty cord that carries signal, power, ground, etc. I had a unit like that and my friend did some tests on it with a meter to figure out what was what.

I have an lcd screen that accepts that same type of plug. They call it a ps/2 plug. Its not the same as a computer ps/2 plug though. It probably does the same thing as mine. Power/video and audio. I also have other jacks to input power and video. Mine is a santeca screen and it plugs back into a fm modulator/ tv tuner. It could be the same company but i doubt it since mine has the name of the company right on front.

Looking at the back of the screen more closely.. it does resemble mine somewhat.

It's called a DIN plug.
