In some ways I wonder if the Big Three want the strike to occur. They have a lot of expensive inventory sitting on dealer lots that isn't moving. A strike will lower supply and might make selling expensive vehicles easier. Also, it seems that labor unions don't realize that as they push for more money, benefits etc. they make it an easier decision to replace them with robots.
 


















Sounds like the Canadians accepted far less than what the UAW is asking. No 4 day work week but paid for 5? Just 15% pay increase, not 40%? No old school pension to get the "25 and out?" motto?
