Unknown wires

Ok, My factory radio had a second connector going into the back of it. The connector had a ton of pins, but only 2 wires to it. I did not connect these wire to my new radio. Anyone know what these are for?

could it be for some kind of BUS line? I know newer dodge vehicles and some gm's have something like this.

Hm, maybe for steering wheel controls? Rear controls? Auxillary input? CD changer? Lots of stuff. Should be fine without the plug.

What color are they? I can't make them both out, one looks to be yellow...
