I'd love to go wheeling Nitrous but my tranny mount is toast and Ford sold me the wrong one. When I get time to trade it for the right one and install it I'm up for about anywhere a stock X can go

I am getting updates to this thread, but see no replys

Sorry I missed that Heath. Yea, I want to still come up. If thats ok? I will be hunting untill that Thursday, then I will come up Friday evening sometime.

FYI Guys don't go to the brand new Checker on Gordon in Layton. I got in an arguement with 3 people in that store over if my explorer's 8.8 had axle seals or not. I simply went in to get a new one cause I have a leak.

Just did a search and found this thread. Thought I'd say whats up everybody.

Yo, welcome to EF.

Hey Robb, you still around?

Heath, when can I bring some steaks up for a BBQ?

Damn the thread is reserected!

So when are we gona all finally get together and go do a camp fire!?

Damn the thread is reserected!
I didn't know that was a bad thing! I'd be up for a campfire, need a little snow to melt, just let me know where and when.

No I'm happy. I wondered why it died. I just figured no body cares!

We usually go up bountiful road, its gravel/dirt and at the end of old ward trail there is a little area thats perfect for fires and if you want there's a few screwing around places.

There will definatly be snow on the road but its nothing harsh if you've got some decent tires. :)

Ya, I got decent tires, just stock size and no lift, yet.

I'm still here Jake. I was just checking in to see if I could get things going again. We need to get together sometime and wheel somewhere. My ex is down until I can get a tranny mount for it. Looking at the Autofab unit, anybody use this one or know anything about it?

Oh one more thing if you can get a hold of a 27 march 2005 SL tribune there is an add taken out by the greenies and has a list of Moab business' that want to end truck use in the Moab area. I am working on getting this list so we know who not to visit while in Moab.

Found this on another forum and thought you might like to know what the money grabbin people in Moab think about our business. Guess some of the guides are getting upset because they think they are loosing money from not being able to charge everyone. Well if this is the way they feel about us then they don't need any of my money. Hope their stores close down from lack of business!

Everybody needs to stop doing business with these companies. These companies have all signed a letter to Utah's Governer urging him to limit or eliminate access to Utah's back country to off-highway vehicles. These are only the tourism-related companies in Moab that signed the letter. There are more, but these are the ones that you may have given money to in the past, or may in the future. PLEASE DO NOT GIVE ANY MONEY TO ANY OF THESE BUSINESSES. THEY DO NOT WANT YOU IN MOAB.

THE FOLLOWING MOAB COMPANIES SIGNED THE ANTI-ACCESS LETTER TO GOVERNOR HUNTSMAN. PLEASE WRITE TO INFORM THEM OF YOUR DISCONTENT AND STOP USING THEIR SERVICES.

Companies in RED are ones that we should focus on because of the amount of traffic they recieve from our community.

I was told there were a couple of business' that were placed on that list with out consent of the business and Moab Chevron was one of them. Eddie's is trying to ride on the fence. If the greenie's are around then they hate the wheeler's, if the wheelers are around he hate's the greenies. There was an article by a couple of the business' that were not sponsors of the letter but were listed as such. I will see if I can find it.

Thanks for finding and posting that list Jake. Has it been posted in the Moab trip thread?

How many out there would be interested in getting together and going to dinner or something along that line and forming a Utah Explorer Club?

I'd be instrested. The mustang club people are mostly old foogies and I don't really have anything in comon with them.

Last time I checked most old foogies don't wheel. ;)

For those interesed in forming a club, what days/times would be good for a get together. Also if not in your bio put where you are from so we can find a central location. I live way out in the boonies so I'm up for most anywhere. I go to Layton often as that is where my wife's family live.

Im in Salt Lake/Sandy area. I recently found a small board called http://www.utahoffroad.com/ They are pretty small, and are an 'anti-club'. Seem to be nice people there, even though I have never gotten out with them.

I think us making a small explorer club/group would be cool. Meeting up may be hard come my new job(where I will work most Saturdays) but Im all in for it.

Im also getting my new windshield put in tomorrow, I hope it fits LOL

Oh, you didnt know, I hate Sinclair :D I just cant work the night shift anymore, plus the pay sucks. So.. I am going to work for a friend in sales(Acentus) selling financial coaching.

I'm in if you guys want to meet sometime and form a Utah club. I live in Clinton (near Layton) but I would be willing to travel a little to meet everyone. I think a Saturday afternoon would be best, but I am pretty flexible.
