I just replaced front and rear shocks and had all tires balanced and alignment.
When I am cruising down the highway at 50mph or greater the vehicle really shakes noticeably. Almost like the tires are not balanced.

Any ideas?

The tires were balanced 2 weeks before the alignment/shocks

My Exploder is a 4x2

How old are the tires? I had a similar shake that went away with new tires. When the problem first appeared the tire where less than two years old with plenty of tread left on them. After countless balancing and alignments I thought I ruled out the tires. But then I got the new ones and haven't had a vibration again.

Also, there are threads here about a bad shake some Explorers get. Some get a shake that seems to be unfixable.

Tires are only a year old. One is a mis-matched spare (firestone)

Thanks for the quick post!
