2002 ford explorer xl
I have a strong vibration when driving 60 mph and higher. I feel the vibration through the steering wheel, my seat, and the floor board (my feet). I had 2 mechanics tell me that they don'r feel any vibration.
My Explorer is a 2002 XL, with a 4.0L 4 X 4.
I also had 2 garages tell me that my alignment is fine and the wheels are all balanced.

HELP!!!!!!!

I had basically the same problem, you're may not be the same as mine was but my explorer had some belts broken in two of the tires. Look at the side of your tires carefully inside and outside, any waviness or uneven side surface is a sign of broken belts. sometimes you can run your hand around the surface of the tire and feel it better than you can see it. One other thing, check roundness of the tire, sometimes a bad shock or strut will cause the tire to bounce slightly which will cause the tire to wear out of round which will cause vibration especially at higher speeds. On my Toyota it started around 62mph - tire out of round due to bad shock
