First clue: During a couple of snow storms last winter, felt like tranny was intermittently downshifting. Occurred most often around 50-55mph and approx 1600 rpm.
Now feels like torque converter is intermittently locking/unlocking under light to medium load all gears. Feels like going over small bumps in the road or like an engine miss. Only noticed under a light to med load, during hard acceleration the trans works ok for a 5R55S...
Gas mileage is good (for the 4.6) Trans does not slip, and shifts well most of the time though it does down shift hard to first sometimes when decelerating.
