Looks like I will be getting a new car in the next month or 2... Id love to get another Ex but the Gas/Insurance costs are outrageous when it gets placed in my name (young male driver). Does anyone know about the VW Jettas? I test drove a 2003 Jetta GL today. Seemed pretty smooth. Nothing to brag about as far as speed goes, but it was comfortable enough. Anyone know of things to watch out for? Problem areas? Anyone have a better idea of a car that is reasonably priced? (Im looking for good gas milage, and something with a decent base model package - the jetta comes with power windows/locks on the base model)
