Just wanted to give a quick shout out to Turdle, thanks for helping a guy out.
These shackles did a great job raising her up. They are certainly sturdy buggers. Nice and level and changed out eadier than I was expecting.

How much longer are the warriors than the stock shackles?

I installed the same shackles on my wife's 99 Sport, & they raised the back of the truck a couple inches.

I installed Warriors on mine years ago. They work great!!

John

I'm very pleased with how they worked for leveling mine.

I did mine a few months ago, those old bushings were a freakin pain, it lifted the rear but I need new springs in the summer... Still have the driver side rear lean.

LOL, I'm not the only one that did the bottle jack method.....;)

@Brem95

Nice work on the bushings!

You sure have some low hanging brackets that seem to be bolted on your leaf springs....

Cut those?

What is the finish on the Warriors called?

Thanks, it’s from the helper leafs. I’ll be replacing my leaf springs in the summer so I’m not going to cut. Deciding if I want them on my new leafs or not!

Ok!

What advantage/disadvantage do you find from the helper leaf?

The Warrior shackles are available in that standard size for the Ford Explorers. As I recall, they are available in either black or that “gray”. The gray Looks like a hammered-type finish.

The squared off U-bolts could be flipped over so that the excess threads are not catching on something.
