Was this a good buy?

I purchased a set of BFG a/t's from a friend today for 20$ a tire. They have 1/2 the tread still on them. Is this a reasonable deal? and How long can I expect the tread to last on these tires?

for $20 a tire i would say its a good deal, especially with 50% tread left... you couldnt buy a new one for $40

Pretty good deal.

BFG ATs can easily last 50 thousand or more.
