After looking thru the threads on this site, it seems that either replacing the radiator, or thermostat or waterpump or heater control valve will cause our temperature gauges to ACTUP!!!! I thought at first it was air in the system and then the dreaded HEAD GASKET... I have heard of guys replacing Gauges, waterpumps and thermostats and sending units... Dismantling their intake manifold and on and on... Well, after reading ALOT of posts on the same issue, I can say, "IT's NOTHING TO BE WORRIED ABOUT!!!!!!" It must be air in the system and probably will eventually bleed out.... As the owner's manuel says, "it can take up to 7500 miles"......

And the way the OHV engine is designed it is NORMAL for the gauge to move a little bit around the thermometer symbol. I was told this by a top ford tech.
