Sorry to hear this. I had it happen to me a long time ago. I had my whole system on layaway and a week after it was installed it was stolen.

That sucks man!!! Sorry to here this.

I'm sure the subs and in dash screen will be missed, brain... probably not ;)

:chug: :chug:

ya... kinda sucks, i have a car show in 15 days... but on the good side, im going to be either getting the alpine pulse touch screen, or the pioneer avic n1, and as far as subs, ill be getting the same ones most likely...

I HATE THEIVES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

thanks, some people will just never learn...

Advertisement is your worst enimy!

I make it a point not to crank my tunes anywhere in or near my nieghborhood so that no one that knows where I live, knows I have a decent system.
This just goes to back my statement in another thread where I wrote; I doen't understand why people install stereos so loud that they go deaf and or, spend all that money so that everyone else can hear it but you! Ain't that the case here litteraly. That sucks man. Sounds like either you crank it too close to home or someone you know ripped you. Hopefully my advise helps you with your next one. Good luck!

Ill never Learn?

I had my Explorer broken into twice, My system stolen both times, Yet i dont learn, it was a joek get over it. Gettign stuff stolen is soemthign ive learned to live with. I drive a jeep, i get **** stolen all the time, mainly just cds, and what not, havent had my radio stolen yet, but thats becuase its in a locking console.... Yet ill never learn

falls guy- sometimes bad things just happen too. its not his fault.

as for playing your music close to home- its good general precaution etc. but isnt gonna do enough if the theives want what you have.

all that said- the theives that stole his system probably sold it all for around $200 bucks. Its not like this was organized crime. Most likely they just walked by it parked and saw it and took it.

this wasn't really that big of a system at all, or that valuable of componentry.

is insurance gonna help you out? or are you keeping it off insurance? do you have receipts for thigns?

Yah I here you. If they want something bad enough, they're going to take it some how. My point meerly is if they don't know what you have, how can they want what you have? It was just a helpful hint. The only person at fault is the dirty rotten thief! You know, out of site , out of mind.
I once had my stereo and wheels stolen off my stang and it ended up being someone I new. My neighbour. I just happened to be showing him the stereo the day before. That wasn't coincidence, or someone just walking by. You just never know, so that is why it is good not to advertise what you have, too many thieves and jealuos people. I found baiting him and getting revenge the best way to deal with this problem. Now everyone who knows me wouldn't dare! It solved my problem. I haven't had anything stolen from me since, about 15 years ago. Knock wood!
Peace
:smoke: :burnout:

falls guy - i never blast my music that much, or i won't do it before i go and park my car in a parking lot, and i always have the screen tucked away much well in advance before i park my truck... the place that it was stolen at was an hour away from my house, the disptacher at the police station said this mall has 10-15 break ins a week, and this mall still hasn't done anything about it, they have no cameras or anything...

expo 5.0 - insurance is covering everything, i just need to pay our $200 deductable, which isn't bad at all... i'm getting the same subs+box, and i'm getting the alpine iva-d 300 pulse touch screen indash screen with everything...
