could it be a bushing, or ball joint? drive shaft weight fall off?

It shudders at 65 because of where he took it.. Drive it more, it will stop shuddering once it realizes your not going back for a while.

Those pictures make me jealous. Being able to have the front end underside look that clean, and that un-rusty. It really is amazing. Being up north, when you see a car like that, its pretty impressive.

I'll bet on the air in the steering, that has come up twice here this week. My 99 truck had a steering shudder(by the alignment shop) on its test drive. I had everything dry, new pump, lines and cleaned reservoir. It gave me no trouble, but the alignment tech was surprised on his short test drive.

It seems like a more common issue than normal vehicles. It never did any of that for me, the tech worked out the air.

Section, drive it more, cycle the steering while running quite a bit. Surely it's not a hard part that has been missed. Night,

While it was jacked up I removed the PS cap and cycled it a half-dozen time each way. Odd thing is, it doesn't feel as bad as it once did. But it is definitely not fixed.

You guys think that could be the problem eventhough it's not really a steering vibration?

Maybe I'll rotate the tires around again to make sure it was actually done in the first place.

This seems to be an intermittent issue which makes me think it could be the half shaft? Could I have bent/tweeked the shaft or joint and it only gives me issues while that one side is under power?

Then jack it up and run it in 4x4, maybe have a friend pry a bar under the other wheel to keep it from tunring

SAS it and be done with it.
