I just got this truck in June,I bought it becase it was a good deal,when I really wanted a 2nd gen ex.

94 limited
all the goodies
149000 miles
new ball joints
new tie rod ends
new air conditioner compressor
and condensor
new radiator
4 inch sus lift
clear front corners
clear rear tails
new kenwood MP3 player
20 mpg
3.73 gears
runs excellent no issues at all

Yeah I would say $4000 is the going rate, you may find somebody who knows that in that condition its worth a little more..

What kind of lift's under there?

Limiteds in perfect working condition, and with perfect leather can bring a little more, the $5500 range....

Again I dont know about your area code.

What does the blue book say?

The interior is perfect.Its a rough country lift I think blue book is around 6 grand

Blue book is a little over 5000.I want a second generation ex,I just want to find out how much I could get.The truck is in excellent condition,it also has new auto lockouts

Keep it, that is one heck of an ex, I was also thinking of a second generation, but suspension wise, they are not as tough as what you have, so I am looking for the same as what you have. The only way I would go to a second generation would be 2 wheel drive, don't want cv joints in the front of mine.

What size tires you running, 32's or 33's, I am wanting to go 4 inch next time around, and was thinking the 32x11.50's would be a good size, the tires in your pic look like a good size.

The trans is perfect.I have had three other first generation explorers and this truck is rock solid.
