What gauge wire for Hella 500 lights?

I need to extend the wires for a set of Hella 500 lights going on a safari roof rack. Does anyone know what gauge wire the kit comes with? I don't want to run into trouble. I will need to extend the black power and blue ground wires. Thanks.

It probably comes with about 16-18 guage wire. If your running wires to the roof, I'd recommend investing in some 10-12 guage, just so you don't loose as much power.

I also did what Matt said. I went to a trailer supply store and bought a thicker guage wire that was molded together. Since you are running a ground and power, it would be easier to just have 1 wire but actually 2 if you know what I mean.
