the 6th and 7th numbers on the Vin, 24, indicate it's a 2door 4x4.

And dang, a 2 door with factory 4.10's, I'm pretty confident that's rare..
 












I thought that they were fairly common on the 5.0 AWD's, more specifically the Mountaineers.

But the 2door SOHCs? Were they really?

lol, the v8 explorers never got 4.10's all were 3.73, and most had limited slip. Eddie Bauer's and sports were the most common with 4.10's.

I will say this though, my D2 (LS 4.10) axles came out of a '98 Mounty. Weren't they all V8s?
 






Ok well i have a 98 XLT 4x4, and thats a sport 4x4. Will the front differential and rear end swap right into my XLT? or?
