What if......

Already did that..I have an '05 SuperCrew. When we were looking at replacing our Explorer in 2005, we test drove new Explorers and then the F-150. After driving the F-150, there was no question which vehicle would suit our needs better.

man i love that color combo. And it seems we all went/ or want to go full size route. Someone start up a new thread asking what full size do you want/ or need to fit ones needs? lol

Does it count that when I couldn't have my 2nd Gen anymore I replaced it with a 3rd Gen? I think if I had to get rid of the EB, I'd look for a 4th Gen.

Sure you can have another generation if you want, but not me. Sounds silly, but I sold a 2005 with only 10,000 miles & went back 5 years to a 2nd Gen 2000 model with 57K on it & feel a lot better.

I'm gonna catch hell for this but......

I'd have to go with a Cherokee Sport. Most of my crap including tires and wheels would fit on it, turning and towing are about the same, their cheap to mod, and cheap to find. They also have a pretty decent reliability record, so there it is. I'd go with another Ranger, but I have to have a backseat with doors (for the kiddo) and I hate everyone calling me asking to borrow a pickup like they used to.

EXPLORER Replacement

OK, just waht vehicle out there even compares or comes close to a 1st or 2nd Gen Explorer?

I'd be buying an Expedition...

Don't fell bad, If I could not have an Explorer or a Ranger I would go will a Jeep too. Either a Cherokee 2DR or the new Wrangler 4DR

I don't think I'd ever get rid of my X but if I had to I'd get a bronco II or a early 70's bronco.

Id problubly go with a blazer or a Jeep Wrangler or Cherokee. i would go with a ranger but I need something that can hold 2 carseats for the kids andthe jump seats in a ranger dont work.

2004 dodge ram 1500 quad cab, 5.7L hemi, black.
or...
1992 Lancia delta integrale evo

I sold my Jeep Cherokee 3 explorers back. The New Explorers just do not seem truck like any more. The rangers look great, but I need the back seat & since we do not live outside the USA, the Ranger 4dr crewcab is unavailable in the USA,

For that reason, I feel like I will be forced to a Silverado or Tundra Extra-Cab.
