What is your MPG?

I got 22.6 on a long highway road trip today in my ST. Averaging 75-85mph.

My ST has 6,000 miles on it and I drive mixed city/highway. On a recent tankful my average MPG according to the display was 19.3. Actual mileage I calculated myself at fill-up was only 17.3 MPG. The display on my vehicle is always showing a higher MPG by 1.5 to 2.0 MPG. According to the current display, my all-time average since 7 months ago is 18.2 but based on all of my calculations at the gas pump this cannot be accurate. With all the stop-and-go heavy traffic here in the D.C. area, I'm lucky if my average speed is 25 mph.

wow; I thought my 27 was great but I would really like to get to the 30 mark; I'll just keep trying; maybe after I put a few more miles (only 1,600 so far) it will get better

My 30mpg was straight summer highway driving, no stopping. I'm going to do a manual calculation, tank to tank, next time. Most of my driving is local short distances, and around 19mpg, according to the vehicle.

When we first got the car, it was averaging around the 18.7 mpg mark with mostly city. Now, we have about 5k miles on it, averages around 23.7 city and if we take it on the hwy as well, it'll get about 25.8 average on regular. Premium has gotten me as high as 28mpg average.

In sport mode, we've gotten about 22.7mpg average, but its an SUV, so not really that fun to drive "hard."

Curious, do you have the XLT, ST?

He has an XLT. Check his margin profile. ;) That is why the Forum requires members to add their 'trim' level.

Thank you, I didn’t realize that.

About 6500 miles. Mix of town and highway. 22.6 is the average.

Car is at 500 miles and only getting 16 mpg, is that because of the break-in period? What are you guys getting?
10K miles on mine and getting about 19 overall due to my heavy foot. That motor simply wants to run! 24ish hwy on longer trips

My personal best of 635 total mileage was on a recent trip in Wyoming with pure gas (no Ethanol). A lot of low/mid speed driving between Jackson and Yellowstone.

14.1mpg over 2k miles, lead foot lol

Have 4000 miles on a limited with 2.4L. Most driving is mix country / small town and average is 23.8. On highway trips I get around 29.5. And I keep it in normal drive mode. I had to put about 3k miles on it before I began to get this kind of mileage. First 1000 knock off about 4mpg on both.

I just did a pretty fair calculation on a full tank of gas, varying highway and local driving, and I came up with 19.5mpg.
