If it’s registering wide open throttle it cuts the injectors and won’t start. Test this on a warm engine though, in case your throttle cable is stretched, and you can’t achieve WOT. (You can check this with a live data OB2 scanner, as well)

Yes, it works! Learned it here, to prevent getting the "rattle", as I can go 2 days between drives. Getting that oil to the engine before starting.
