wheelin on the 20th in uwharrie n.c.

hello everyone , well i'll try this the right way so here goes i'm going up to uwharrie on the 20th since i'm new to this forum i dont know many on here
all i wanna know is if any and how many people can and will make it it is a fairly definate trip so i will go no matter rain or shine and stay all day if not camp out. anyone intrested can call me at 704 791-3878 for directions or to confirm their coming. i will have some recovery gear but i dont have much so if you have it bring it. i plan on riding the easiest trails first and then advance all the way up to "daniel"[the hardest trail] in steps to let all who show to wheel at least a couple trails.then i would myself have room for three if my i;m alone and two if my other half is with me and i;m thinkin we could pair up for the stockers to see what real wheelin is all about! i hope to see everyone from stockers to way beyond there so just come have a day of fun and lets show the heeps what the little blue oval is really made of! i plan to meet at the elderado outpost at around 9' but that is subject to change as more people decide whats needed thanks and lets go wheelin!

sweet thats two of us who else wants to go? if 9 is early then we can change it this is all to be decided, this will be the first time i've ever wheeled with another ex. and z, if u need help i got a full shop if you still have truck problems that can be fixed! anyway i'm already excited this is gonna be great!

you should have called me and let me know i could be there right now.. training was cake. jumping out of an airplane with combat load cake. hitting the ground like a rock thrown in excess of 100 miles an hour no so cake but i did it. My next traing is the weekend after the 20th so I am doing a run for sure.

no there are a few, look for the old ure threads and pm/email them. nissanboy aka chad is out of a truck so dont bother with him (might make him cry). Lee me and the wife are getting a campsite i guess, so if you want to come down go for it let me know. It look like i will be there on friday night to setup camp. nice now you know how i feel. I would be up for tellico. depends on how my new fans works. (if its $hit then i am off tothe boneyard to pull like 4 fans to fix that). my cell is nine one zero - 723 - zero 7 eight five. If everything goes well i will be there. cb channel 24 for this run.

I won't be camping, dammit, only because I have already taken the 26th,27th and 28th off from work for me and my buddies annual camping trip.

The Ex is not in very good shape however; I have a radiator leak, the rear end is squeaking from my last run at Uwharrie, feels like the transmission could go at anytime, fuel gauge and water temp gauges no longer work...

i wish i could come but im broke( the ex is getting the timing chains fixed) but im definately gonna be down there in the fall probably in october so ill post a thread closer to the date to remind whoever wants to come.

dude i so know what you mean my ex has no first gear!!!!!!!!!!!i have yet to replace the tranny i broke a one way cog or something so i just put it in 2nd and have at it!!! well that makes three of us i dont mind being trail boss at all {beating chest} made me the man i am today!hehehehehehe anyway we have three now who else would like to go? and if you want man just come and ride i will have the room just b/c your ex aint at it's best dont mean you cant ride. anyway we still need to meet up anybody on here got a time to meet? nine i guess was a bit early but i will be camping friday and saturday night so anytime is good for me, by the way camping means sleeping in back of truck,,, dont snicker now,, my girl is really afraid of the dark so on saturday when she comes up i will have to meet her at the outpost. yeah i'm whipped but shes my baby i cant wait to meet everybody up there till then!!!

My boss wants me to work Saturday morning. And I can't really tell him no, because he cuts me a lot of slack. So gentlemen, I will not be attending this run But it's all good, because today I did happen to find the area of my radiator that is leaking So now I have to pull that out and figure out how to fix it

I cannot express how badly I want another run at Uwharrie like the one I went on for the first time with Zhanx, Nissanboy, and Slravene. I think there were more, I just don't remember who. But we met up on Friday, did some wheeling, then camped, woke up and did some more wheeling, camped, and came home. That ROCKED. And I want that again. Before Crozet would be cool, but I don't want to cram for it.

dude this sucks I got pulled to have duty this weekend. I am trying to play the I and Platoon Sgt and dont have to roll but i dont know yet.. I'll know for sure by lunch tommorrow and will post then.
