Which 4 door leaf pack?

I just picked up a 1999 2 door Sport for my daughter that was in great shape, except it has the "all too common" rear sag. I have done searches and read enough to know that a 4 door leaf pack is the way to go but that brings up a few questions;

1. Which 4 door leaf pack will fit a 1999 2 wheel drive 2 door?
2. What year did the 2 door go back to a leaf pack?
3. How hard are these springs top replace and what is involved?

I know yall probably are getting tired of the same ole questions but I havent been able to find this info yet. Thanks in advance.

1995 to 2002 will fit for sure. Many other years may fit as well. You can also order custom leaf packs to fit from a number of companies.

2. What year did the 2 door go back to a leaf pack?

Seems it was either 2001 or 2002 according to posts on this forum.

3. How hard are these springs top replace and what is involved?

It's easy if you have normal tools. You just want to have two jacks/stands so you can both support the truck and take load off the spring when removing the end bolts. See the AAL Install thread and skip AAL part.

91-01 Explorers rear leaf packs are the same, atleast they are when it comes to a 4" lift in the rear. I don't see why they wouldn't be the same for stock springs. Good luck
