I'm usually not a fan of black wheels, but the wife says they will look better on my Explorer than the silver/machined set.
If she's on board with the purchase, then I'm good with black! lol

I like the Ground Force GF09. It's got a bit more going on stylewise than the HR9. The HR9 looks like a wheel to a Conestoga Wagon to me.

I was actually leaning towards the GF09s...but of course the sizes and offsets I want are on back order.
I'm not sure what to do now...I may just wait for them and get them ready to run next summer.

I ordered the HR9s...in a rather aggressive size and offset, should be a nice concave look to it.
I didn't want to wait for the GF09s

I like the HR9's too, can you post some pics when you get them mounted? What size tire are you running?

I am still working on which tires to use...

The Conti CrossContact UHP in a 255/50ZR19 front and a 285/45ZR19 rear are the same height as the stock wheel/tire combo I have on there now, is a very good tire, but doesn't have the ratings of the other 2 tires...

The Conti ExtremeContact DWS 06 in a 245/50 front and a 275/45 rear are just a tad shorter than stock, are an awesome all around tire...but not as wide...

The Michelin Pilot Super Sport in a 255/45 front and a 285/40 rear are about an inch shorter than stock, are a awesome summer tire, do everything great, and are the widest of the three...

I have to do more measuring to see what will fit and what will poke.

The HR9s are what I was originally gonna go with, then I made the mistake of looking around at more/different wheels.

They remind me of the BMW Style 95...

...which are what I really wanted to run, but it's difficult to find a decent staggered set for sale that's reasonable.
