Who here runs HID headlights????

I think the error code module is for higher end cars, you shouldn't need it.

Got 2 kits from DDM Tuning. Quality stuff, worth the money. 55w 10,000k lows, and 35w 8,000 fogs. Wiring harness on the fogs just because the stock wiring harness that came with the fogs was complete crap. no harness on my lows though.

yes, these are much easier to do than to retrofit a projector, just plug & play. the hardest thing you will do is decide which temperature to get!

its ither u go 4300k or 10000 k cause ur a ricer:rangertan:

??? I am not looking for anything ricer, I just can't decide which to sacrifice, ricer look, or brightness. i like thepotroast's hids.

So if you install the non hi/lo type bulbs you lose hi beams? is that how it works? just trying to figure it all out before i purchase a kit...

I'm not quite sure but I think the hi/lo ones just move back and forth so you don't need to use the stock Los or his depending on where you mount them. If you get the non hi/lo then you don't lose anything, you just won't have hid his or Los depending on where you mount them, unless you get a kit for your his and a kit for your Los. Hope This helps and makes sense,
kendal

I know for the 9004 and 9007 you will lose hi beams if you don't use the hi/low bulb.

But if you install them where the lows are, you will only lose the hi feature of the hid kit but you will still have the stock highs right?

I don't know what or how many bulbs you have but for the 9004&9007 its just one bulb.call them they are very helpful

There's only one bulb... 9007 in mine I believe. So if I go with HID lows and lose the highs I wonder if it will still pass inspection....

not in va!!

well apparently here in PA you dont pass..... I dont like the whole idea of the bulbs moving in the hi/lo setup.........

I'm saying it won't pass an state inspection.if you look back on page two,I have allready talked about this.I know I've seen an hid kit the has hid as he low and halogens as high.so the bulb isnt moving, but I can't seem to find them anymore

ok all the high and low kit dose is change the angle of the bulb. its not brighter or anything it just raises it up for the high beam and lowers it for the low. they stoped making the twing bubl kit cause the heat of the bulb aka the hid would totally #### the other halogen bulb up. dont worry about getting high and lows just get like the 55 watters thats what i have in my truck. and 4 day lighters with 55 watt hids in them and have no issues

So what you are saying is use your daylighters as you hi beams?

Yah I mean I don't really have flash to pass cause they need to warm up but it works
