time for a SAS ........i wonder how much it would cost for some longer A-arms or for sway-away to build u some bars(i know they do custom applications) then u could get some descent flex out of the SLA ................ ext. arms plus some flexy t-bars
Hey guys.. I've never tried disconnecting the rear one, but my front swaybar links were broken when I got the truck, and when I had them replased there was definately less flex. Don't think it rubs in the front anymore eighter..
I just can't understand why it would help disconnecting the rear one. My tires already rub when I "twist" the truck up until one wheel lifts from the ground. Will I get more downtravel or something?
Yes, If you disconnect the rear sway bar and that 5th shock (if aplicable), it will help your down-travel. Just watch your rear brake line. you may have to bend down the upper bracket in order to have enough slack.
i have sent sinjin's pics to every jeeper i know. im loving this. keep the pics rolling. one day ill get a few up on here.
ned you will definitely get more down travel. if you are towin a load or going on a long trip i would reconnect the rear sway bar but it is really not all that necessary.
There are a few videos at Dead Link Removed of Rocky in action. They aren't more than 5-10 seconds long, but his truck does some funky twisting in there.... well worth a look!
