Just so you Easterners know you are not alone!!!
Snow....not a lot, only about 5 inches total. We got the most of it on Weds...but the issue here is, it has not been above 25 degrees in 5 days, and well, ice is just damn nasty to drive on with no 4WD and in a roller skate (our Geo Tracker 2wd w/rear wheel drive that only weighs 2000 pounds fully loaded!

) Add to that high winds on Weds and a bit on Thurs, and I hate it!!!! :frustrate
I drove a wrecker and know how easy it is to total a vehicle even at lower speeds. But, then there's all the idJets who think that cause it *looks* dry and clear (not that there could be ice on the road...noooo there can't be ice there) who decide that my very safe speed is not fast enough and have to try to pass me on narrow two lane roads....GRRRR!!!
And we are supposed to drop down to about 6 BELOW 0 tonight...then get hit with more snow starting Saturday afternoon.
Oh and did I mention we do not have a furnace in our house? We haven't since our propane furnace died about 6 years ago...all we have are three of those oil filled electric heaters, and a little portable electric on with a fan.
I am ready for summer already already already...
Maybe I wouldn't be so bad if my truck was running..you know, brand new A/Ts on a 4WD truck that weighs more than 2000 pounds? Yep...I would feel much better driving my lady to work, instead of the roller skate.
