I have a 98 limited sohc. It always starts the first time great. But, once its driven, if not restarted within a few minutes, it takes 20 or 30 seconds of turning over to start. If it has sat for 1.5 to 2 hours, it starts perfect again.. There is probably 15k miles on the rebuild if that. What do you think, leaky injectors filling up a cylinder, fuel pressure leak somewhere? Oh, and I have no codes displaying either.

Thanks

I'd put a pressure gage on the fuel rail and see if it's bleeding off quickly. I think I read in here somewhere that there's a valve (return valve?) that goes bad.

It should keep pressure on the rail for awhile.

Try this, leave the truck idel for 40 seconds befor shutting it off...or on some truck (mainly GM's) turn the key on for 20 seconds and off again 2 times then start it up
