Thank you sir :salute:

I will hopefully have her fired up by next weekend. Can't wait to see what she can do!

I read about your buildup on another thread and can't wait to see what the results are. Let's hope you can crack the 400 mark. How soon before you take it to the strip to see what you can run? Get a vid made when you fire it up!

Yes that will be a new record for an eaton blown 2v 4.6L. I'm a bored 5.0 but its still fair game.

Well I plan on firing her up by next weeknd finally! Then I just need to tune her. I hope to have made it to the strip before the end of April. That is my goal.

Latest porgress:

Had to cut off part of the lower flange so it could clear the water pipe:

EGR delete. Should be good for a little more ponies.

Idea I got from Charles at MP. Gauge on the intake track to measure any restrictions.

And on the motor:

When is the estimated time of "hauling ass?" I want to see some 4-wheel smokeshows and side drifts:D Looking good, keep it up.

Nice Alex. What does the intercooler look like under there, pull that intake off a bit.

Sorry about that Don I just saw your request.

I found this pic of the intercooler when the SC was new.

can't wait to see her running!!! keep us updated

Thanks Alex, I've been optimistic from seeing how small most air/water intercoolers are. I'm hoping to use one that's about 4x12" to match the lower intakes, and 2-3" thick.

Yeah the one you see is about 6x8'' and about 2.5" thick. Then I have another air/water heat exchanger in the bumper that's about 6x16'' and about 1'' think. Then where my spare tire goes I plumbed and air/water heat exchanger that's about 12x24'' and about 3'' thick with a 12'' fan.

But with these positive displacement blowers I think the only one that makes a real difference is the one after the rotors, the one pictured above. The meth/water should do a job any sized intercooler can't.

I have been working on my motor for about 5hrs today and have about another 2hrs of work to fire it up again. Should be tomorrow for sure.

After carefully looking at my intake cover ive decided that if I don't get the results im looking for with the two meth nozzles over the intercooler, ill plumb a nozzle over each runner. Good thing is that my IAT sensor is actually inside of one of the runners. So that should pretty much guarantee a cold cold charge.

Looking good:) Now how about those smokeshows?????:burnout:

Only smokeshow ill be able to do is in rear wheel drive mode! Mine has the part time 4x4 that transfers power front to back, pretty much making it impossible to do a 4 wheel burn out, but "guarantees" some awesome traction :)

Alex, I remember all of that extra work you did to cool the water. That was a lot of work, I wish I might have talked you into something else before that, if I had thought of it.

I hope to get so far along to be doing the intercooler. If I do I'll do my best to make room for a large coolant reservoir, likely in place of the battery. If I can get an AC evaporator in that reservoir, I'll run the AC line through that and cool it quicker. I would have to do some wiring to control the AC compressor, but I was planning some of that already.

Yes I have always wanted to do something with my AC as well.

Fired up. Ran it for about 20 min. No leaks ect. Still need to do some cleaning up and ill most likely test drive tomorrow.

The white gauge is new. It will measure any restriction on the intake while at WOT. Closest to ZERO the better. +1 and above will indicate a restriction.

Sounds slow.......................................................JK:) I am very jealous! Hope all goes well on your drive tomorrow. Take it easy and don't screw anything up!!! Good luck and may the force be with you:D

Without thinking about it to much just off the top of my head, there's 15k+ under the hood. And about 1 trillion worth of my own man hours :).

If memory serves me right the long block was about $7,800 and the SC was about $4,600.... then add LOTS off parts.
