update:
well this is rather funny.. i talked to my insurance company, and they are moving to deny the girls claim. Her father made the report to their insurance company and said that i was doing between 35-40. There are a few problems with that.
1. the street is less then 100 feet long with a 80* right angle turn 25 feet before her house.
2. it takes more then 25 feet to make an explorer accelerate to 35 MPH, plus at that speed, it would flip on the curve.
3. the street ends less then 20 feet after her house (where the crash happened). It is a "T" intersection with the main roadway.
4. the lengh of the damage on my truck from the initial impact was less then 48". i'd like to see anyone stop from 35 MPH in 4 feet.
5.He also stated that i drove into her door. Too bad my only damage was past my axle on the right.
My insurer woulden't go as far as to seek damages on their insurance, yet. they still need to inspect my truck first. I imagine that they will seek when they see it. If not, i'll be taking them to court myself. Oh yeah, both insurance companies are now aware that the girl was coached by the father who was not present for the crash.
