Same, whether I get the shackles on before I go or not or find some tires, whichever, I will still be there. I'm in it to have fun, meet & greet, wheelin, etc.

P.S. I bet if we had a wet T-shirt contest more would show up, haha!

Thats the SPIRIT!!:D:thumbsup:

Practice your push ups greg and u will have it, I will go over details with you Sunday, tips and tricks, urs shouldnt be near as bad as ones that dont have a body lift, that helps alot.

Believe me it is tough!! I have already done this twice. Here are a list of some of the METRIC sizes I've needed during my tranny deal...

19mm + Breaker bar to turn crankshaft to reach the TC bolts
16mm transmission support piece
15mm TC bolts, Cats, y-pipe, and starter
13mm Bell housing and transfer case bolts
12mm 12p socket for the rear drive shaft bolts
5/8 wrench for transmission cooler lines

I highly recommend using a tranny jack. I am a big guy and can lift the tranny by myself, but as for bench pressing it and trying to line everything up while you are doing it, it gets very hard and very dangerous, very quickly.

I believe the Manual is lighter than the auto, should be easier to lift. Getting it lined up and stabbed while bench pressing it is another story though. I might run up to HF tools and see if they have that trans adapter for a floor jack cheap enough to get for this.

Last time I checked it was $50.

Have you guys not made it to Smorr yet?

I mean come on guys!!! :)

Add me back to the confirmed In list, RZR runs and will be there and very good chances ranger will be driveable and go along for a few shakedown runs.

If I upset anyone with previous rant I'm sorry. Had been super busy and stressed.

On the list once again.

Welcome back.

What time is this happening?:D

I 2nd the wet t-shirt contest but finding Participants my be the hard part?

i'd think finding participants would be easy, Just show up the local college with a party bus and your good to go

The only thing holding me up from rejoining the confirmed is the ECM for the truck. I have everything else. All the local yards do not have it, I have tried kbiak for nearly two weeks without a reply. Do you guys have any ideas where I can find one? The number is F47F-NB

Ah i will try and look thru my parts might have one I'll send but no gaurantees.

I think i may be coming down if all goes well

Alright I got all the tools and straps, ect ready to go. About to go over the camping stuff and get that ready. I am bringing a spare hub and a spare long side CV for whoever needs it. I know it won't be me cause I have them. I will break something I don't have, haha. One thing I do need, that I haven't been able to find, is one of those rubber splash guards inside the fender. So if someone has one or see's one at a yard or something that would be cool.

Also, do I need to reserve a camping spot, or can I just show up? Probably should have asked this months ago, but you know how it is...

See you guys in a week!!! :D

My slider nerfs are all fabbed up, and the plates are clamped to the frame. I just need to make the kickouts now!!! Oh, and cap the 2x2 ends, but I have plate for that.

Update: If all goes as planned I may be able to get there Friday evening. Probably no wheeling that day, but at least I'll be able to relax and hang with you guys instead of driving all night, haha.

Aint that the truth!

Just looked again for a place closer to you. :) All these say they have one for around $50

YOU GUYS ROCK!! Thanks for your help gman!

Anyways, I found that I can use an MB revision ECU which seems to be more prevalent that the NB version. That makes things easier.

I got the transmission pulled. That tranny jack made things much easier. Well worth the $70.
