245 60 18 on 07 Mountaineer 18" Wheels?

Hi All,

I found a deal on a set of snow tires for my 07 Mountaineer, they are sized at 245-60-18 and came off a 2014 explorer with 18" wheels. I belive the 14's are 18X8 while the 07's are 18x7.5

I belive the overall measurment differences between the factory spec 235-65-18's and the 245-60-18's appear to be minimal at 30" x 9.25" vs 29.6" x 9.65" .

Anyone run a tire this size or know if it would fit the 07 18" wheels.

Thanks.

Just in case anyone stumbles across this, I had these mounted and balanced the other day, fit perfect with no issues.

I picked up a nice set of Flex 18" rims off of Craigslist the other day. According to tire calculators, 245 65 17 and 245 60 18 are the same size (within .1% anyways) and there should be no issues. I am going to run the 245 65 18 Michelins on them once they get powder coated. Going to do a Black Chrome coating and then run the plain black sidewall tires. Should look good on the silver Ex.
