Hello everyone, this is my first thread in this forum. Im the proud owner of my very first American SUV. Ive been a Japanese car maker fan for years. Im glad i made the switch.
Now to the point. Im very displeased with the lighting of my explorer. Ive noticed when driving that theres no side lighting. On my past Acura MDX I always admired the light pattern that pretty much started at the very edge of my hood. With the explorer, it seems to only project towards the front and not so much to the sides.
I been looking at how the projectors are installed and noticed theyre just like the fog lights. theyre so deep in side the housing that it doesnt allow for the light beam to reflect to the sides.
Has anyone tried to move the projector "forward" or know if thats possible? I believe that would greatly maximize the lighting potential of these projectors.
