bmxking5 said:Josh - the front driveshaft fits perfectly. The 44 and the 9" both had 1310s already (same as the 35 and 8.8) and so I only needed the rear lengthened a bit. When Robbie gets back in town, I'll get to help him work on his axle every Tuesday (we have a little thing at my work where we get together and work on cars on Tuesday nights, and we just about finished stripping down our 52 Ford proj, so it'll be getting media blasted, frame powdercoated, etc) So if he's got the money for the parts, we can get his D44 all setup and ready in no time. BTW, that 86 Yota you've got has a straight axle right?
It's been so long since I've been driving on 31s that I don't even remember what it's like. 31s are big to me....I've been driving a 2wd s10 on ~27-28s. So it'll be even worsemynameisaric said:mmmmm chromoly shafts and ctm's. when you get all done and can drive this thing, i bet your legs will hurt for the first week from going from 31's on a small lift to jumping in with 37's and big lift.

Well, I gotta go to work now, but I got both of the coil buckets mounted today. When I get back from work, I'm going to cut the buckets down (so they go just slightly past the bottom of the frame) and have my neighbor tig the buckets to the spacers. Also, I'm most likely gonna be picking up new axle shafts for the front end already. I'm trading my stock shafts + 225 for some used but great condition Warn Chromoly shafts, then I'll need to find a set of CTMs.![]()

Michael said:BS...They are designed to work together. They will move the break point to the hub which is cheap and easy to replace on the trail.

I doubt my brother would go for that idea, it's his truck. He saw an S10 today with a 6" susp. lift and 3" BL on 35s and he's definitely ready to get this thing up in the air.mynameisaric said:instead of a body lift and spindles, you should weld a 30 degree ramp into the bed and use it as your mobile rti ramp.

Wtf? CTM's arn't "desinged" to be used with warn chromo's, warns are some of the lower end chromo shafts.
