is the throw out bearing, pilot bearing, and slave cylinder all centerforce brand? i didnt see where centerforce sold their own slave cylinders and whatnot, maybe i didnt look hard enough.

Nope, those are coming from Ford Parts Network. I didn't really look too hard for those parts, because I was recommended by several people to buy everything from Ford, except for the clutch.

yeah, i dont see how the centerforce is going to have '90% more holding power' with stock slave cylinder, but i dunno... maybe its sticky? i was wondering that when i had my tranny out last but i didnt replace the clutch

yeah the ford replacement is just the basic LUK.

Just for anyone else who is needing to buy the throw out bearing or slave cylinder: The salve cylinder already comes with the throw out bearing on it (from Ford Parts Network, and any other Ford place I know). So now I've got to send back the throw out bearing, unless of course, someone else wants to buy it from me.

Got everything installed yesterday. Ran into quite a few problems with bolts on the front d-shaft and then on the y-pipe. Once we got all of that stuff fixed, everything went smoothly. It feels so good to finally have a clutch...especially when I've only driven this truck with a clutch that's had 125-130k miles on it and has been offroaded for the past few years.

Well, about 1,000 miles later...it seems to be driving better than it ever has. I'm extremely impressed with the clutch. The instructions said no offroading, etc for the first 400-500 miles. I must say...I was damn lucky I drove just over that amount before a few days ago.

LMAO I was at the same place as the pics on page 1 (me stuck and a Bronco pulling me out) and I pulled out a TJ on 33s and a Yota on 31s...3 times! These tires were awesome. I was able to make it atleast three times further than in those pics from earlier.

Yea, I plan on painting it gray or black more than likely. I didn't get a chance to finish it today, but hopefully it will get done tomorrow.

I plan on selling the 5 watt PA speaker soon...it will be replaced with a 15 watt. Dang Jeepers made me jealous. Also, I pulled out the hitch because with only 2" of lift and 31s...it's not like I have lots of clearance, so I pulled it gain clearance in the rear. It's a very good thing I did, because I would've been stuck when I tried to pull out that TJ on 33s.

Got some Hella 500's last week. Mounted on the front bumper and am VERY impressed with how much brighter they are compared to just the headlights. I can't even imagine how nice it'd be with 4 lights on the roof rack!

Today I got some Silverstars. They are much brighter and whiter than those 'APC Ultra White' bulbs I had before. They are about as white as my Hellas, so I really like em, especially since I got em new, for free.

Just bought some diamond corner side marker thingies from BeauJ. I've been wanting diamond clears, and since I got a really nice deal on these, I figured I'd just buy these now and piece it together (since I can't make myself spend the huge amount of money on ebay to ship them, when I could be buying a Dana 44).

Also, I am going on Wednesday to buy my R/A bushings. Even though I hate spending money on this stupid front end, they are literally in pieces. And even though they'll prolly be a pain, I'm going to try and do it myself anyways. I'll grind off the rivets and replace them with bolts, so that it'll be one less thing to worry about when it's finally time for the SAS.

Well, I ordered the radius arm bushings today. I have got to get a pic of these stock r/a bushings. There is literally a chunk missing out of one of them. I guess fully flexing out the front end (w/ sway bar disco'ed) each time I go offroad, which has been about 3-4 times in a week and a half didn't really help the already corroding bushings. They should be here next week, and I plan on grinding off the rivets and replacing them with grade 8 hardware, to make the axle swap easier.

Also, I got some free tow hooks for the rear. I was planning on using some like the front, but they won't fit without a body lift. I have some long ones that will work perfect. So I guess tomorrow I'll get a pic of the tow hooks, the cargo box that I FINALLY finished, and the awesome stock r/a bushings.

Yep. The TJ is really nice. The only thing holding it back now (from more flex) is the skid plate. The drive shaft up front hits it and causes it to stop flexing. He's buying some Jeep Medic skid plates on Friday, so then we can see how much more it can take.

I had the wood for the box, I was just too lazy to cut it. But now, it's got the hinges, etc and it's got a hi-lift mounted across the top. I'm really happy with the way it turned out. Now I just have to paint it gray or black and bolt it down.

EDIT: This Dana 44, or lack of a Dana 44, is really making me mad. I've found tons and they are all atleast 5 hours away or overpriced. I was so used to having a bigger and more capable truck than Jon (guy with that TJ) and now he's bigger and better than me. I can't wait til I'm locked on 37s w/ a wristed r/a...then I can really show him how to flex out in those ruts.

Can he not brake out the angle grinder and grind down the stock skid plate? Thats what i did with my skid plate on my CJ, the shaft would it it, so i just took the skid plate and "clearanced" it with the angle grinder....

It already has some spacers to lower it down, and it's been cut a little. He can have one that will still protect it and has a spot where the d-shaft goes, but it's still just a stock skid plate that's been cut/rewelded/etc and costs over 150. The Jeep Medic belly up skids are more of a low profile, stronger, and are built for the drive shaft to swing down with large amounts of flex like in the pic. Plus he's getting an awesome deal on them, so he can't pass it up.
