Yah, that's what I was thinkin'...it would make bagging an X more worthwhile too because then I'll be able to lay frame!!

Now, the question is, will I be able to find a 2wd X, and will I be able to afford it... :banghead: I'll keep searchin...

I'm not sure why but X's depreciate pretty quickly you could find a 98 for like 5g's and less a lot of the time.

Yah, I guess I'll just have to keep my eyes open for one...

Hi there

Hey it is possible to bag a 4wd my 97 is 4wd it has air rods in front in place of the shocks and 4 inch blocks in the rear with slam bags they are 2600 series bags and 1/2 inch valves the system runs off nitrogen and i did a ball joint flip on the front and raised the upper a-arms 3 inches the truck rides on 19 inch wheels with 245/60/19 tires and it tucks the tires. I will post pics when i get it back from the body shop.

Does anybody have any info/advice on bagging a 4wd 2001 sport. Also what parts would be needed. I talked to one shop about it and they wanted to charge me 10,000. I had a feeling they were tryin to take me. Plus, I really want to do it myself.

it is best to just go to 2wd- not hard to convert at all

here is a current pic of mine-

well, shouldn't say current becaue i've done a ton of body work since then- but close enough anyways. I haven't been posting pictures for a while... but believe it or not the body work on mine is almost done. thought it would never get this close to be honest. I also have my navi buckets in up front.

Pierre- nice rims! you got more than one seat in there now i hope? it's looking great.

and thanks

I don't believe you! You've been doing bodywork since you joined the site! :p

that can be done- just don't plan on getting lower than a 5 or 6" drop up front.

expo5.0 man that is looking sweet! the way you have the front end, roll pan and side skirts is what i have been picturing in my head for mine. Can't wait to see it painted!

thanks a lot man

i promise to at least snap a few pictures sometime soon now that the body work is actually getting toward "done".

I know i've been modifying it forever- but this time it really is starting to get done done. I have aspirations for an m coupe, and wont' be able to swing that while also really actively modifying my truck to such a great degree.

simple way-

"shockwaves" up front and 7" slam specialties bags on the suicide doors under axle bag brackets in the rear.

too bad that company absolutely sucks

yeah- have to custom bracket the front a little- but shoulnd't be awful to make that work with 4wd with the shockwaves.

I guess you'll also need 4" angled blocks for the rear, valves, a compressor or two, switches, and an air tank.
