The Snow has been great lately. These pics are last week. Can't wait until Thursday when we get it again. The last one we went out to play and my brother rolled his XJ trying to go around my stuck truck. We winched it over and it only had a small dent!!! Not even a broken mirror!!! What a kick!! I got 4 chains ready for the 37s, been too lazy to throw them on though!

I used all 4 chains when I went hunting. I slid off the trail into a tree though and spun on it until it broke on of my chains! So now I have 3 until I fix it. Chains make it unstoppable.

My buddy who plows for DOT says they are calling thursday the worst storm in 100 years.

In 2 days. May be hype, but I talked my friend who was a news weather guy 2 years ago (got out of the buisiness) and he said it was going to be big! I never believe it until I see it!!

I think we're going to go camping this weekend up the buckhorn west of FoCo. The snow is particularly nice up there. I need to find some chains though.

Ok, so if it hadn't been plowed recently I would have been screwed. . . but it was fun. Hand-brake rally style turns and all.

The problem is trying to plan a snow trip in SoCal. The snow isn't exactly predictable, and you have to hit it within a day or so.

WHAT JEFE? That car is lame. I hope you don't sell your X before you figure that out!!! I know I can do the car thing for a few weeks, then I am wishing I had my truck again. Even my 2x4 ranger can only sustain me so long until I have to drive the jeep or the X.
