I like the hoop you did to match the grill. I've been considering adding to the bumper I made for my truck. And I like how close you got the ends of the main tube to the fenders, I wish I got mine that close.

Yeah turned out pretty good. I am going to work on the middle part in the morning. I have to put shackle tabs on and work on the winch cradle. I wish I would have found a grill at the junk yard. I found some aftermarket ones. But I don't think they say Mercury on them. So I am holding out a little longer to find a factory one.

Working on the winch today. Looks like I should have enough clearance with tucked in there... :D

Took it for little driving tonight to test everything out drove 30 miles. Going to have to pick up some shocks for it front and rear. It rides real nice just a little bouncy. LOL

Thanks guys! I am beat this thing has had me working like crazy. I love it. The looks you get from people. And pulling into the Walmart parking lot next to F150 and dwarfing it was pretty cool. Still have to get the winch wired and finish the skid plate on the bumper. But I am so close now I can taste it. :D

looks like ur about equal in hieght with the 250 in the back of the picture, and it looks great, nice work

Thanks man! My son thought that too until I pulled next to Super Duty, and he saw the Super Duty still had about 6 inches on the Merc. LOL The Super Duty has 6 inch lift on it. I am happy were the Merc is sitting now. My wife commented on how nice it was and quiet inside when driving. I might have lost my new rig already...:(

She just wants what she cant have, put some sound proofing in her liberty and she will soon rather have her own car back :D

LOL that isn't her Liberty that is a customers rig. I wouldn't be caught dead owning a Liberty.:p:

I bought her a Lincoln Aviator about 2.5 years ago. Her other ride is the 2002 Wrangler yellow one in the pics all the time.

And she is smoking hot so she gets about anything she wants. Hard to tell her no. :D

i thought you said xj in the past but then i saw the liberty and made the wrong choice, and what is wrong with the aviator that it doesn't ride smooth and quiet

I have XJ. It is old and beat up. It rides awesome but it isn't as cool as the Merc. :D

Well i feel different, i have a CJ and though it might be old and i may have layed it on its side, it is nice to feel the road instead of drive on it, in that vehicle all the worries in the world dissappear much quicker than when i'm in the x
