Hope you're right, but looking like the Ranger might be going instead. This thing just keeps getting neglected :)

how much did you pay for the track bar bracket?

I dont remember exactly but was maybe around $150 ish it was forsure under $200

Update: Front brakes ran, everything hooked up, axle went thru, lockouts installed, stage 8 lock nut, clutch pedal installed and bled, throttle cable, condensor, radiator, rear axle pinion angle pads reset, rear driveshaft spare built, extra driveshaft getting balanced, body bolted down, steering shaft hooked up. Transfercase lever modified and installed. Rear stock bumper attached, start of custom front bumper hooked up.

Pends rear detroit and gears install, rear brakes, bleed all brakes, small wiring things, gas tank mounted. Alighnment DRIVE!!!!!!!!!!!!

Also over the weekend I bought a Dana 60 Front and Rear from 79 F250, with 4.10 gears. I'm not sure what I'm gunna do with them at this oint prolly a different build. To much allready done with this one.

Yea. never really done LOL, I couldnt pass, my brother got the truck with intentions but needed money and was going to ahve to sell. So I didnt have to drive at all, and instead of the rear 60 he is also giving me a 10.25 sterling with 4.10s from 89 f250. I really think I'm gunna save the axles for I hate to say it a Jeep/Buggy.

what gas tank did you end up going with? the one pictured earlier? I'm trying to find a tank to enable me to use an E4406.. I've been given one of a full size bronco, but I'm not sure I can make it work...

Si

Looks sweet Brad, love it.

Edit: Been following this, did you run into any issues with bolting the body to the 1st gen frame?

No bolted right up, Just front to core support brackets are diff. I have cut them off and put a spacer to widen them out to match. The radiator is a little wider at the bottom than inside of the frame rails. I trimmed frame a little to clear and will plate the outside for more strength. The steering shaft I used was from my 97 Ranger fit steering box correctly and the upper end that connects to the steering column is the smaller hook up like the 2nd gen explorer setup.

Gas tank is from 91-E150 Van thats major last thing left. I will get pics once Im working on it this coming weekend.

Had to break for a bit and do some wheeling on the farm, creeks were washed out from heavy rain and wasnt able to crawl the rock and tree root, then couldnt back up rear was on a gravel ledge.

Yea I made a custom upper bracket and lowers. Hoping that will work well since I wasn't planning on putting a sway bar on it.

Thanks. Ya ranger isnt to bad either, it has 4.56s, limited slip front rear, skyjacker longarm lift and rear springs not block. Manual everything, its gunna be my backup rig.

Leveled
