Well for starters, I wouldn't buy a brand new sport. Those things are overpriced when they are new. If you're going to plunk down 28k just spend a little more and get a four door. Just go with your gut instinct and you'll get a great X.

An extreme option would be to get a console from the new gens with the auxilary fan and rear controls. You would have to do a lot of fabrication but it would do the trick.

I was at the dealer, and the 2003's have the chrome embelem on the back, they don't have "explorer" on the side, there are different pull handles, and there is two tone leather.

I don't know how to fix that without a hammer. On the bumper though, that plate is probably most of the strength for the bumper. I would get a new bumper or just paint the ugly part.

I just got a silver '02 if you go to www.kbb.com and look up the 2002 sport, their file photos have a silver one.

You would probably want to put the mp3 files in folders with your cd burning software. The HU will most likely pick up on them and have a way to scroll through the folders and also the tracks in the folders.

I believe that the sport rear seats have a missing part on each side for the wheel wells. I would say no.

Has anyone changed their stock column shifter knob? (It wouldn't work in the newer explorers with the OD button.) I think it would be neat if it was something other than that plastic thing. If anyone has done it, is the stock one threaded or glued on?

I have the exact same proplem, but on both sides. Its not the dust shield, but i think its the brake calipers. I've reached in there and can wiggle them but have no idea as how to stop it. By the way, mine is a 2wd if that makes a difference...

I would like to have one of those 2003 Mach I's. Its like a classic car without the rust or carburetor.

My uncle has a '70 mach I with the cobra jet that I might give some attention to, but I almost still like the 69's better with the side scoops.

I have this chip on my hood that has helped the clearcoat start to chip around each side about 2.5". Is there any way I can stop the bubling without going into great care to fix it? Its okay if I have this small spot but I'm worried that half of my hood will be chipped off someday. Thanks...

there's a sensor that checks the pressure of the a/c system, when the pressure gets too low, the compressor simply turns on. all you need is a little recharge like mrboyle said.

My dad farms, and I've seen him do horrible things to craftsman tools and they've always survived. It'd be wise and save some money for the tires and lift.

Is it right that with a couple of small adapters, you can just put r-134a in the r-12 system without changing compressors? This is considering that all leaks are fixed...
