Yeah, I'd tape it up there before you cut anything to see how it would look. Stic-o did it with his Ford logo and it turned out nice. I'll find a pic. EDIT: I found the thread instead. :) http://www.explorerforum.com/forums/showthread.php?t=108493&highlight=grill- FROADER

Any of you free this Friday and close to Denver? Maybe meet up for drinks sometime? I don't know my schedule exactly but I think Fri. is pretty open. Maybe sometime Saturday before the Endurocross race (the reason I'll be in town).- FROADER

My rear bumper with swingout tire carrier
Sounds good to me. Cheap and easy. I have some AALs but I want my rear springs softer, not more stiff. Shackles would probably do me good, I just haven't got any yet.- FROADER

Moonroof - was it an option?
There should be an interior cover for it. It latches in the front and screws in the rear. If you get it (and it doesn't have a cover) and want a cover and the interior is tan I'll give you mine for shipping costs. I don't use it at all. I've never had any problems with mine in my '92.- FROADER

Tired Leaf Springs
IMO the monoleafs would be way too soft. For ordering custom leaf packs, some places may know the weight of your vehicle, others may want to you to weigh it front and rear. Tell them what you have, what you want to do and they'll go from that. There are National, Deaver, Alcan and a few others.- FROADER

Looks about the same or higher to me. You could still do custom springs with the SOA, but again it depends on how much money you want to spend on this. I'm guessing not a lot. :dunno:- FROADER

That is the problem. I don't think you can go much shorter than stock length if at all. I think there was a thread about it. I'll look. The reason I asked about towing is, I was going to suggest custom (softer) leaf packs, but that would add about $400+ to this project.- FROADER

First post :D, question about difference in Limited and base/XLT editions
Yeah, It's all just cosmetic and interior option differences. Nothing mechanical is different between them all except for the obvious manual tranny and non power options like windows, doorlocks etc...- FROADER
