hey guys I have a white car and today I noticed when I was washing it that the paint is looking alittle dingy and not as bright as used to be. Granted the car is a 2001 so it will age alittle but is there any products or ways out there to make it shine alittle better and to clean up the little flecks and stuff in the finish?

Well Mothers Wax products i have had good results from. Otherwise not sure of any other products that would bring back that showroom shine. Besides bringing it to the dealer and get a full detailing job done.

You will have to remove the oxidation. You may be able to use a rubbing compound product or wet sand. Just remember, whenever you remove a portion of the paint, it is of limited thickness and repainting will be required at some point.

A clay bar would probably be your best bet if it's not too oxidized. I just picked up a thing I saw on tv. http://www.icepolish.com I haven't tried it yet, due to my work schedule but I will probably post a review after I get a chance to use it.

I would try a clay bar before more drastic measures.

Good luck ....

let me know how that "ice" stuff works. looks interesting.

i used the Ice claybar and the ice wax on my ex and it worked wonders i was amazed. my neighbor thought i got it repainted!!

claybar works wonders!!!! I use it on my stang every time I wax and it feels like new paint! Try that and Mothers 3 step process and it will look like a new car! Just my 2 cents.

3M cleaner wax ALL THE WAY!!! That stuff is bad ass. My black truck was bad!!! But I got it looking good again.
