another ABS question
to make a long story short.. i noticed my cruise was actin kinda funny last night, and my abs light was on.. then started flashing when id use my brakes. if memory serves me right the front abs sensors are just speed sensors on the axles? could this be causing both problems? any feedback...- Four0Sport

Radius Arm Bushing Replacement
91 - 94 explorers all had the cross member that the radius arm bushings bolt to held in with rivots. most people use an air hammer or drill and remove ther rivots when replacing the RA bushings and replace them with nuts and bolts. i used 7/16" hardened bolts when i did mine.- Four0Sport

front end noise drivin me insane

auto hub bangs while engaging at low speed
my hubs always bang when i engage while moving. Shift on the Fly.. ha, i always stop when i engage, then just let out on the gas and let everything engage smoothly. youll save your auto hubs by takin the extra 30 secs to stop and engage.- Four0Sport

Pic of my 5.0 for a swap, will it work?
easiest thing to do is try to find a wrecked/totaled 5.0 explorer and snag the harness and other parts you may need, such as mounts and the crossmember, might make things a little easier- Four0Sport

the arm is splined inside.. there is a tab on the bottom of the ball of the arm, pull it and pry the arm off of the splined knob is sits on and raise it up a few splines.- Four0Sport

A couple of questions from a new owner...
the serpentine belt is on the front of the motor, snakes around all your pulleys, hence the name SERPENTine belt. There is a tensioner that holds it tight. all you need to change the belt is a ratchet, socket, and 15 mins spare time. oh, follow the belt diagram- Four0Sport

$97 for a belt and labor? you can buy a good belt for $30 and install it yourself, dont get ripped off on minor repairs you can do yourself. just a word of advice- Four0Sport
